PPR Timeline before submitting your passport

Hi All. Just a quick question. When you get the PPR request, is there a limited amount of time that you have to submit it to the Canadian High Commission in London? The reason I'm asking is that my hubby is currently visiting me here in Canada and we're hoping to obtain his PPR by the end of this month or early next, but either way, we want to buy a flight back to the UK in mid-March. So let's say he receives his PPR tomorrow (as an example) but his flight isn't until March 18th, which means he can't send them his passport for a few weeks. Would this be problematic?
