Guys - A slightly random question?

What does PPR look like for a british citizen? As i only submit a photocopy of my passport what do CIC send me? a letter to prove PR or does my british passport get a PR visa stuck in at a later date?

You will receive the letter of confirmation of permanent residence (COPR) that you and a CBSA officer will sign at the time of your landing.

All approved PR applicants receive this COPR document. As you observed, the difference with other applicants who are not visa-exempt like British passport holders is that they get a single-entry immigrant visa stamped in their passports to be able to make their landing. The reason is usually because commercial airlines look for proof they can enter Canada before allowing them to board.

I have a related question: my daughter and I are from a visa-exempt country but my spouse is not. Do we need send all passports for the visa or just my wife's?

Just your wife's is enough, but some people do send all passports, although again, not necessary.
