Good Day

January 28 2014 - my wife submitted my sponsorship

June 29 2014 - i received an email from cic requesting additional documents (Appendix A) and passport

July 10 2014 - they received my passport


Now what? I'm thinking what will be the next.. some says after 10 days you'll received your visa through courier, some 2 weeks some 4weeks and for months..

Sometimes it takes up to 2 months.... I don't know why they take that long,
but be patient, the most important thing is that they have your passport,
and soon they will send it back to you,
they will send it requiring payment of the delivery, so be ready with
something like 500 pp for the delivery.. its less than that, but don't recall
how much....

Congratulations ... you are close to be with your wife...

Ours was exactly ONE month after we submitted it. At that time (while we were tracking others' as well), it also seemed to be exactly 3 days after you see 'Decision Made' in ECAS.

One month... that is encouraging.... I am disappointed to see some cases that take too long...
like months....

But hopefully Manila is not like that....

(April 2nd week 2013) 1st med
(Sept 3 2013) they received my application for permanent residence
(April 08 2014) PPR /CENOMAR/ appendix A
(April 28 2014) they received my passport <-- LBC
(April 30 2014) Re-med
(April 30, 2014) they started processing my application
(May 2 2014) Meds Done

Im still waiting...

Ppr last may 20, 2015...until now there's no update from Canadian embassy manila :'( #February applicant here...

Hi! Did your letter from MLA contain the visa validity date? They requested my pp July 7. They received it July 9. I really they could return it before winter comes in Canada . BTW, my visa validity is this coming december so I really hope I could travel by October...... Soooon!!!

They actually do not send notification. You can check or track your package using the tracking number.
I sent mine through LBC. It says received by SBeronia who I think is working in Manila embassy.
If you are really worried, you can just send them an email and they will let you know.

thank you so much... yes i'm worried and i also had mistake with my appendix A form as i did not listed my son's name there as my accompany because i thought he did not included in it.. as he is not included in my application because his proof of citizenship still on process.

Hi spidermark,,i thought we have the same timeline!.I had PPR last month too,,,but I'm worried,,because I did'nt put anything information like my file number at the back of my envelop just only the address of MVO..
