Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
VISA ISSUED...
23rd Oct 2010
LANDED..........
10th Dec 2010
HI,
I applied for PR visa for canada in march and received PPR letter from Delhi CIC yesterday.....I have few questions in my mind....Receiving passport request letter means that finally i ll get the visa now or still it can be rejected.....?????????

Plz help me to clear the doubt as an quite nervous...

thanx

most likely yes, they are ready to issue the visa. however, read through the letter carefully, as sometimes visa offices will request the passport to avoid further delays as they know a final assessment will be made shortly...
90% of the time it is a good sign that the final step is ready to be made.

maybe someone else can confirm with their own experience ....?

Dont assume anything with immigration it was posted here on another thread they requested a guys pp then requested an interview after the fact,he went to the interview where at that time they gave his pp back to him and said they would be in touch.
When the passport comes back with a stamp then your done.(after landing)

iarblue is right

it's process system then will ask Ur passport 1st for check background and travel history then they may call for interview and all depend after interview

Ohhhh....interview is also possible in this case but I heard that in PR Visa there is no interview as such

The embassy requesting for your passport means you are in the process of getting your visa stamped. In some cases after sending their passport to the embassy, the embassy request additional requirements such as Police clearances etc.

All my documents including PCC have been submitted while filing the case.....i hope things will be ok and I ll get my visa asap..... does anyone has idea as to how much time it can take?????????
