Seniors and all those who have gone through the PPR process:

Please advise if we need to submit our old passports as well(alongwith the new passport) for visa stamping to Buffalo.

The application form submitted to CIC contained the new passport number only.

cheers!

PS:The new passport exists because the old one got expired!

You need to send your all old passports, in the absence your would be required to file affidavit as to why u r not able to send it. In case it is lost then an affidavit and police report is required

If your current passport is different from the passport used for your medicals , i presume that it would be safer to send that along , else i see no reason why you need to send your old passport along with your current one. At the end of the day , follow the instructions on your letter from CIC.

I sent both the passport old as well renewed, as it was clearly mentioned in Medical/PPR/RPRF request forms. What I understand y CHC ask for old one as if some one apply with old passport number and before the ppr he gets it renew and get it issued new one and does not inform to CHC than CHC match old one with new one easily.

Thanks
