PPR and Visa Exempt Countries

Hi everyone,

While we sit and wait for our AOR to arrive and then the rest of our application to process, I thought I would ask about PPR and being from a visa exempt country.

My wife is Australian and as such requires an ETA, which I believe makes her visa exempt. If that is the case, will she have to send her passport or even receive a PPR?

Sorry if this is basic, but I thought I would ask.

Yes you will get PPR. From what I understand, you only have to send a copy of the picture page of your passport, not the actual thing because they dont need to put a visa foil in it.

So just a colour copy of the picture page eh? Do we mail that in or do we upload it online at that stage?

You are a long way from worrying about that. It will be the last thing they ask for and you can upload on gckey

Ages away, but if I occupy my time with finding out more about the process then the less likely I will sit and just dwell on this application
