SDS or non-sds?

I am worried about the processing time on their website. For Egypt, it says 26 weeks. My timeline
Application submission: November 26
Biometrics collection request: November 28
Biometrics enrolment: November 29
Biometrics Complete (status update): December 1

Is this a good sign that processing will be fast and will not take 26 weeks?

Processing times are not accurate. do not go by that, just expect delays due to covid but students are their priority so things started moving with pace for students.

My timeline:

Online application - April 06th' 2020
AIP - August 13th' 2020
Medicals Updated - August 26th' 2020
Biometrics Submission - November 27th' 2020 (Delhi VAC)
BVL - November 30th' 2020
OPR - November 30th' 2020

Returning student and DLI got added to the list on November 17th' 2020.

Waiting on reply from VFS regarding passport submission.
Congrats! what is your VFS ticket series (1st three digits) of # number on acknowledgement email? presently it looks like they're working on 93-96 series. I have 107

I'm waiting for the same, emailed them yesterday. Did you provide all the info as per the proforma on the vfs website.?

Thanks a lot !
What is the average time between "biometric completed" status and "decision made" or "PPR" from your experience for those applying recently? I see people getting PPR just 3-4 days after biometrics.

I have 106. Shoot, it is gonna take a while. They have closed their helpline number too.

However, I think they must be working on ticket numbers 100+ because I had ticket number 97... for biometrics appointment on November 27th.

I guess they have different ticket numbers for biometrics and passports; but I hope I am wrong, most of the tickets are for biometrics and they process passports on time :)

what time did you send your first email to them? have they asked for full details (someone I know got a response within an hour asking for details)? if so, what time did you send full details? Thanks for sharing

Like 2-3am. It's already been 3 days. How did that guy receive a response within an hour? I thought they reply on the basis of ticket number. I even signed up for premium service when I gave my biometrics. I paid INR 3,050 for it. Totally misleading procedure from their end.

I don't know what they're doing. The other guy said that response looked like an automated email asking more information. And he too is still waiting for payment link since Monday.

So they did not ask you for full details yet?
