It's my first time posting and I've been searching the forums so apologies if this is a regularly stated query, I just couldn't seem to find someone in the same boat.
I submitted my application for PR through the Express Entry system after receiving my ITA on November 18th 2018, after a quiet month I got a request for an RCMP report in December which I did within the week. Then it was all quiet until about 3 days before my decision deadline date (May 18th) when they asked for Biometrics, which I paid for then got completed within 2 days of that request. This bought me past the deadline when the countdown timer was replaced by the helpful message (your application is taking longer than usual", things went quiet again for a month when on the June 17th I got a request for a photo copy of my passport and 2 photos. These were sent to London (UK) on the June 19th and signed for on the 20th. I am now sitting waiting again, the inordinate amount of time my application is taking seems at odds with all the other testimonials I have read where by they were either processed within the 6 months or within the 2 months that followed Im heading into month 9 now and nothing. I have also read testimonials that people received COPR within 1-2 weeks of sending their passports in and I'm heading into my 5th week. I sent an inquiry on the web portal on Tuesday but haven't received a response, and I have e-mailed the London address directly but got an automated reply saying I can expect a reply within 28 days which is not really good enough seeing as I am already 65 days past my deadline.
Has anyone else experienced such waits at each step of the process?
