Hello Friends,

Can someone please tell me, if Public Provident Fund balance is acceptable as Proof of Funds?

Regards,
Nishi

Yes, it is acceptable. But I suppose you'll need some sort of letter from your department mentioning how much can be withdrawn from PPF.

Only at the time of application. You need actual cash or DD when landing.

only the letter is needed while filing the application.
while landing, you should have the actual funds in the form on cash,DD or in any Canadian bank.

good luck!

I don't think that PPF can be shown as POF however, PF can be shown at the time of application. The reason is liquidity, whereas PF can be withdrawn at the time of resignation with PPF its not that easy.

PPF can be shown as proof of fund not PF.

"PPF can be shown as proof of fund not PF."

Can you please explain what is Proof of Fund and PF?

Hi,

Can somebody answer to my queries.

I have my funds invested in under construction builder property. Can I show the receipt of the amount that I have paid so far as a settlement fund. Because I can sell the property at the time of moving to Canada.

My funds are also invested in PPF (Public Provident Fund). Please let me know if the balance of PPF can be shown as a settlement fund or the withdraw able amount would suffice.

Thanks in advance.
