Hi Guys,
I am an international student and i intend to go back to my home country to pursue some job leads after getting my 3years post study work permit.

I would like to spend about a year or two in my home country then come back to Canada before the expiration of my 3years work permit. Please can you advise me on the position of Canadian Immigration Law on this?

Do i have to remain in Canada for a certain length of time after which the work permit becomes invalid?? Pls provide any useful info on this

you can go and come when you wish during the 3 years.

You can come and go as you please.

However remember that that SP is a 1 and done thing, you cannot renew or extend it. So when it expires at the end of three years, you cannot say you only worked 1 year on it and get it extended
