Post PR Interview after LMIA

Hi everyone, one question:

I’m asking this for a friend — they received their PR through an LMIA-supported job offer and already have their PR card. They’re still working at the same company/Store that supported their LMIA, but recently their lawyer was contacted by IRCC to schedule an interview.


Has anyone heard of something like this happening after getting PR? Should they be concerned, or is it just a normal verification process? Any insights or experiences would really help.

Either random selection of there is concerns about fraud. As long as no fraud was involved like paying for the LMIA then there should be no issue.
