Guys, I haven't received my PPR yet but I'm sure it's close.. I provided my address in City X (Mumbai) but am temporarily residing in City Y (Bangalore). I'm wondering if it's okay to submit my passport at a VFS centre in Y as opposed to X, when the PPR arrives, since it is the same country? Or do I have to inform IRCC of this address change as well?

There isn't any clear definition of temporary address as per IRCC, but usually if its gonna be were you will stay for more than six months it's better to inform them.

As for submission of passport, it doesn't matter which vfs branch you use as long as it will be in India as they all will send your passport to NDVO anyways.

Goodluck

Perfect! Thank you! Hopefully the PPR is issued soon enough so I won't be here too long.. and I'll go submit the passport at the VFS right here whenever the PPR does arrive :)

Hi Scylla, I get that if a person is in same country then he can submit his passport to the nearest VFS. But what if a person is moving to a different country before or after receiving PPR? Can he simply submit the passport to nearest VFS or is there a formal procedure to notify IRCC about your international travel and then seek permission to submit passport in a foreign country? I am asking in the context of express entry application.
Thank you.

Can anyone answer this please?
