Sep 1st was some statutory holiday. Application was mailed on Sep 1, and I'm pretty sure it reached on September 5 - the CC charged and AOR dates confirm my assumption.

One more 5th August applicant PPR ;D

I got the Ready for Visa mail today morning (PPR).
I was expecting it a couple of weeks later, but surprised to see that mail come out on the family day.

Timeline:
Application Sent: 30th July 2014
App Received : 5th Aug 2014
AOR - 23rd Oct 2014
Med Request - 11th May 2015
Meds Done - 18th Aug 2015 (multiple tests)
RPRF - Upfront 19th Jan 2016
PPR - 15th Feb 2016.

Got my AOR on 23rd Oct, one of the grandest festivals in India. So despite the wait the progress is happening on special days making them even more special.

Good luck everyone who is waiting for progress. CIC definitely seems to have pickd up their act.

Did any one recently received RPRF request ?
I received that email today morning with a subject line of my file number i expected to see an email with sub line "Request for payment of RPRF"
My only concern is this legit email ??? i have called to CIC call center and they said that its legit and you need to pay .
