I will try calling again tomorrow. What number did you use? Is there a certain time that I should try calling.

Also, I am calling from USA using skype maybe that's why I am not able to get a hold of a live person.

Try from 8am US Eastern- I used the Canadian number to get in touch with them.

No nothing yet. Still in IP1. I officially crossed the extended deadline on Monday 04/16/2018 but still no updates.

I did try calling the customer service number but it always goes to an automated system and the call never gets routed to an actual person, after 15 mins of waiting and pressing buttons all I get is "Sorry we are experiencing a high call volume at the moment, please try again later".

I thought about the GCMS notes, but I read that we cannot apply atleast until 60 days after the complete application has been submitted. I did cross the 60 days now. but if I apply now it takes another 45 days to get the notes seems like that is the earliest they can get it. I don't know if there is any point in doing that.

How about you? Any update or any luck getting a hold of an agent over the phone?

I am calling this number +16139444000. You can't call this number from your phone unless you are in Canada. I am using skype credits to call this number. But, no luck in getting hold of a live person.

@Aka.2017 - So finally was able to get a hold of a live agent. But, nothing really useful. she just gave me the same information that is there online. And when I asked whether my BG check was started or not, she just responded "You are still within the 6 months time period so you don't have to worry about anything the application is going thorugh the regular processing chain". So, I guess I'll just wait.

Oh! I saw few folks held up in ip1 for more than 6 months in some threads! Guess we should stop reading few threads for a while and just stay positive Cheers!
