Post Graduation Work Permit Question

Hello everyone,

I am an international masters student and I have a very specific question about post graduation work permit.

When I first came to Canada to start my master studies there were problem with courses, most of them have been cancelled, professor were on sabbatical, and I ended up with 10 credits and didn't manage to find an appropriate 4th course that would fit in my schedule.

I had the same problem in my third semester but I managed to find an additional course that I absolutely didn't need (had nothing to do with my master specialization) but only for purposes of being a full time student and ended up paying 2500$ for it. (international fee)
All the courses that are listed on my masters program page have been cancelled or are not offered this year, I feel so cheated. I had to take courses that I absolutely had no interest in.

And now that I am done with school, is the first semester completely killing my chances of staying in Canada and obtaining PGWP?
Can I attach a special document explaining my situation? In the first semester while I was looking for the fourth course to complete my full time status I didn't know that I could have taken a course whit a prerequisite (A course would have a prerequisites which I didn't meet but I could have taken it with a special advisor note).

My masters program was an engineering program (45 credits) and 2 years is expected duration of studying.

I am very new at this forum and in need of help. I applied for my post graduate work permit on 1-Dec -2015 and my study permit expired on Dec-5-2015. However the online application was not going through and i have to submit paper application. When i was checking out it shows $155 as fees . I was not aware of the open work permit fee of $100 and paid only $155. I came to know about my mistake in January while i was reading posts on this forum. I immediately paid the fees and submitted case enquiry forum to cic. Few days later i got their email that my file was returned by responsible office. I recieved my entire application on February 20-2016 with letter that due to that $100 missing fee it was returned and i have to apply for restoration as well because my status was expired. I submitted the file again with $455 fees and updated application forum. I have not received my work permit yet. The intense part is when i call cic centre they are telling me that i am no longer eligible to get my post graduate work permit as my 90 days after graduation has passed. Even though i had followed the instructions provided on the letter. I am really scared what would happen . Has anyone been in the same situation. Please reply to the post . It will be great help. 1. You are good if you have applied for restoration as well as permit. Better avoid call center agents. It might take close to 3 months with restoration process.

1. You can apply for a study permit but you will lose PGWP, its once in a life time deal.
2. You can't have both study and work permit together.
3. You do not need study permit for courses less than 6 months.
