Hello,

After graduating in 2009, I moved back to my country - Dubai. I would now like to work in Canada. My post grad work permit expires in Nov 2012. Can I still work in Canada? What are my options once the work permit expires, since I will probably only have a 4-5 months of Canadian work experience once it expires?

1. Yes, you can up to Nov/12. If your employer doesn't get an LMO, and you a new work permit, then you go home.
 
LMO basics are outlined on the following CIC web page. One of the main criterion is that the employer must prove they were unable to find a Canadian for the role:
