Hi All,
Nice to find this website and find you guys because I have learned a lot from this forum.
Now I have a problem regarding the pgwp application for its definition of "continuously studied full time"
I am an ECE master student in UBC starting from 2015.9 till now.
From 2015.9-2016.4, I studied full time and get high GPAs. Then from 2016.5 to 2017.5(Now), I took leave of absence authorized by my faculty and school go do internship in US for the entire year and will be back for another 3 full time semesters to finish my degree, hopefully in next year April.
So my question is:
1. So does my status belong to the violation of continuously studied full time as I have taken leave for one year during my graduate study.
2. If not, how long will my effective graduate study duration count? 2 + 3 terms together as 5 terms ? or the final 3 terms ? For my program, usual finish duration is about 16 months.
Thank you guys all and looking forward to your kind response.
Regards
Jason
