Hi there,
Apologies for posting my question in CEC section but it seemed like to me that some of you applying for CEC have gone through the process of PGWP. Hence, posting my question here:
I am currently working on a Post Grad Work Permit that was issued to me last year. Because I completed a four year program, I was eligible for a 3 year PGWP but the one issued to me was only for 2 years since my passport was expiring.
Now I am applying to extend my PGWP but I am confused with which option I should select that I am applying for:
1) A work permit with the same employer
OR
2) An initial work permit or a work permit with a new employer
Since PGWP is an open work permit, I am not sure which option to choose. I called the CIC Call center 3 times but each time I was told to select a different option and hence adding on to my confusion.
Did anyone have a similar experience or knows the right option to choose?
Thank you for taking the time to read my post and I appreciate any advice.
