Post grad work permit rejection: Need advice urgent

Hi,

I applied for post grad work permit in April 2013 through mail and got a email saying my application is rejected as below: I have completed my course in Jan 2013 and applied with in 90 days from my final transcript but a got a rejection. I didnot include a letter from university of program completion and just attached transcipts

When i called CIC they asked me to apply again and try. I am worried abt passing the 90 days time. Now i got a letter from university today which says i completed the program today Aug 06,2013. Need your advice what i should do next.

Rejection reasons are:

a) After reviewing your case, it has been determined that you are not a person whose employment
will create or maintain significant employment, benefits or opportunities for Canadian citizens or
permanent residents.

b)Foreign students in Canada are eligible for a work permit for post-graduation employment if they
provided the evidence that they have satisfied all requirements of the program of studies. As
you have not submitted the required documentation in regard to the completion of your studies,
you are not eligible for a work permit in this category.

I would be very grateful for your help and advice.

I have seen a lot of people apply with Transcripts...for one of my friends they asked him to get a letter from the school which mentions when did he graudate....my friend highlighted the same transcript, scanned and attached a cover letter saying that he has highlighted the graudation semester.....

you need to ask them why did they exactly reject your application....

He never got a letter....he just applied with the transcript which said recommend for graduation...

All my friends that already graduated submitted the letter + transcripts. Some transcripts don't come with a line clearly stating that you finished the program. All of them were granted work permits.

Also, it's way easier for the immigration to make sure you finished your studies by reading the letter.

In most cases the student has to ask for a letter from the school's international centres or registration services.

Jagati what was your course of study?

I have done 1 yr post graduate diploma in business. Originally i took a masters course which was for 2 yrs then, just completed 1 yr and took transfer to a 1 yr diploma.

Can i resubmit my application with a letter from University which states i have graduated from the course again. I am skeptical abt the 90 days time period.Should i still go ahead and apply again.

Now the best possible way forward is to reapply and leave everything on destiny. May be you can check with any visa consultant there.
