When our Background Check is started, do we get an email notification or only updated in ecas or GCKey? Or any one of them happens?

Please share your experience whose BG has started or precisely know about it.

In my case, no e-mail. Only update on Gckey. "We are processing your background check..."

Then insert a new line in ecas "Decision Made"
Then send a PPR email.
Nowadays NDVO completes these 3 steps within a week.

Wanted to know how the work experience verification works . Is it from delhi office of CIC at NS. I am in process of changing work just a bit worried. Do i need to infrom them i dont want to delay the prcoess. Will they call the office .Will they send me MR after Job verification or in between.

NDVO generally doesn't verify if nothing is suspicious.
I don't know about inland applicants.

Oh k. So should i inform them about change of job innext few months or its ok. since my points are done on my present job and work exp. Also do they callup to verify. So that wheni leave will infomr everyone around about my process.

I am from India so NDVO office. They would do a check on BC and Medical rite
