Post-AOR Communication

Hi guys,

I wanted to know if the CIC sends an email on every change in the status in the post AOR process.

I am asking this because yesterday my status got changed to "Medical Passed" but I didn't get any email intimation. Today, however, I received an email about some change in my status but everything was the same in my profile. Could it be possible that they sent me the email regarding yesterday's activity today instead of sending it right away when they changed the status in my profile?

No, CIC doesn't send an email for each update to the application. Also, sometimes you will get 'ghost' update emails but you will not see updates to your application. Good luck!

Hi All,

My application status is as follows:

Application status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

AOR 29-01-2018, MEP 10-02-2018...... where do I stand here ? Can anybody please tell? are the updates ok ?

yup it's fine, it hasn't been a month even since your AOR .

My case was approved in 70 days, but for the most part, everything was static in my case as well. Just relax, keep an eye on your email inbox and myCIC profile. Sometimes, they update the profile without sending any email notification and other times they might send you an email without changing anything in your profile. So be alert, but relax.
