Post Admission Confirmation- VISA Process

Hey Guys

I just heard from someone that we need to pay complete fee for 1 year tuition and 1 year accommodation charges in advance to the university, before applying for VISA.
We also need to deposit the passport for sometime and if in the case the visa is not issued they refund 98% of the amount.

Is this correct ?? can any body please walk me through the Post admission confirmation process.

Every school have different rules about tuitions, some of them they'll send you acceptance letter with only deposit, some they may ask for the full tuitions fees.

You can contact your potential university and see what they require to issue you the acceptance letter, and ask them what is the case if you application was refused by VO

About your passport, yes you may have to stay some weeks to get the passport back in order for them to process your application, unless you apply online ( at CIC ) and wait for passport submission
