Dear Dubaiite, Skilled.worker,
Do u think that I should check my online status using the online form specially that it has been six weeks now since my application was received?? or just wait for their email????

Thanks,

I would like to ask. What mean this abbreviation

1. Pre-Assessed..:
2. App. Filed.......:
3. Doc's Request.:
4 Nomination.....:
5. AOR Received.:
6. File Transfer...:

Hi Pitt,
I think these are for pre-June26, applicant, only
No.2. App.Filed= App. Received by CIO,
No.5. AOR Received= PER, and
No.6 File Transfer= RBVO,
are applicable to us (Post June 26 Applicants)

I applied in April... status is RBVO at present

I am starting this thread for the post 26/6/2010 applicant, who applied after 1/1/2011 to share our experience and timelines. I know we already have an active thread for post juners, but most of the members for that thread are already at MR or Visa stage and our timeline is different and faster ( At least for PER)
we also have threads for March and April applicants, but IMO it is better to have a thread for all those who applied after 1/1/11. What you say?

Please share your experience, timelines, concerns here.

Thanks
yes by this thread we can get more information regarding my file is also received on 16 may

Usually you count 20-45 days till you receive the PER. Check you DD encashment or CC being charged that way you will have an idea that application is in progress.

Check out the thread May 2011. Looks like we're on the same boat.

Dear Skilled Worker and dubaiiite, Till now I did not get any email for PER, I am very worried, I started Doubting that my Job title does not fall under the category I applied under.
My job title is actually a combination of 2 titles from what is mentioned in NOC Website.., If my work is exactly like what is mentioned in the job duties, but the title is little different or they did not find in the NOC list, they will return the application??? did you understand my point???

Job title is not very improtant, if your occupation and job duties are matching with one of 29 occupations and you have submitted proof for that, then dont worry. you may call them, if you are worried too much.
