I was wandering if the first application to Quebec is rejected for whatever reason, is it possible to submit one for the second time? If so, is there a required wait period between the first and second application?

Thank you.

Very important question:

Why was your CSQ refused in the first place?

No, you can apply second day of application rejected, but make sure why it's rejected and whats the reason, provide those documents to avoid rejection again.

Thanks, guys.

CIO_VisaOfficer, could you clarify what you mean here:

Are you saying yes, you can re-apply or no?........ I'm not sure what you mean by "second day of application"....

I have not filed yet, but the reason I'm asking is I get 57 points as it is right now, but that's with no French (meaning I counted 0 points for knowledge of French). So I'm debating whether to take some French courses to better my chances or just apply now. If I submit an applicaiton with all the required supporting documents, what would be a reason I could be rejected if I'm over the 55 point minimum? Would no knowledge of French be a cause for rejection, if I'm already over the 55 point minimum mark?

Thanks

that means you can apply anytime after rejection, second day of application rejected means for example assume that today your application get rejected for some reason, and you find out that you have ready with all documents and whatever reason is place role of rejection , you can apply with new application on second day after getting rejection that means no need to wait if you have everything to re-apply (its not re-apply but it will new application, doesnt matter if you rejected before), yes you can apply again and again if you rejected.

OK, thank you, CIO. :)

If the application is not rejected by Quebec, does that mean: 1) that it will eventully clear and you will be "selected by Quebec" and it's just a matter of waiting your turn in line to get a letter of acceptance by Quebec so you can then just go through the formalities with Canadian Immigration? (medical, other forms, etc.)

OR: 2) will the final decision to give you a Quebec letter of acceptance be made after they get to your application (in 8 to 15 months, whatever the wait time ends up being).

In US, when you apply through a relative or your employer, for example, they respond back in several months (or years), and say - "all is good. Now just sit back an wait for 4 to 8 years :-\ for your 'permanent resident visa' to become available. Then go through the formalities fo medical, etc., and you are in!" Is that the same way it is with Quebec?
