Possible to Land with One Way ticket?

Hello everyone,

As the title suggests, is it possible to land only with a one way ticket? (Of course I have the visa, csq, copr etc)

Also, I am from India, will any of the airlines have any issues at the check-in counter seeing that I have only a one way ticket?

If you are landing permanently you need a one way ticket only. If you plan to stay only for a few days and decide to come back after doing landing formalities then book a up and down ticket.

Hi ,

There are two types of visa's , one is immigrant (like PR , work permit) and the other one is non immigrants ( like tourist ) .

If you are travelling on immigrant visa then one way ticket is good enough for you but if you are travelling on non immigrant then at the port of entry , immigration officer may ask you to show them your return ticket.
