Possible to get another small extension on a visitor visa?

Hi there,

so unusual scenario but I currently have my EE PR application prcessing, with an ETA of about 3-4 weeks after my current Visitor Visa here expires.

I had assumed the 6 months I asked for as an extension here would suffice with a visitor visa, but COVID slowed that down massively. So it looks like I may get my PR application finalised literally a month or so after my visitor visa expires, which would not be ideal to have to travel back etc.

So is it possible to apply for another small visitor visa extension, explaining I have a PR application processing etc. or do you just get the one, or anything I can do to buy another month or so perhaps? Thanks

You can certainly apply. You'll have to tell then why you want to extend and how you're going to support yourself without entering the Canadian labour market - the usual stuff.
