I'm nearing the end of my two year work permit that I obtained through the Global Talent Stream in 2020. What are the possible next steps to obtain another temporary work permit while I work on obtaining permanent residency? I was told that obtaining a second work permit using Global Talent Stream (while working at the same company) is very difficult, and that a C-10 work permit would be better. This was news to me and I'm panicking now because my employer and I were planning on using global talent stream again.
For those who obtained a work permit through global talent stream, what did you do to continue working at your employer after the first two years ended? Also, for context, I am in Quebec and am not yet able to pass the French test, so applying for PR does not extent my work visa.
