Hi All

There is a situation, if anybody can help me please.
I submitted my PR application and everything was good. Then I got married and informed CIC and now I am in the process of submitting my wife's docs.
So the point here is:
We had applied for visa for an European country and it was refused first because they couldn't verify the hotel accommodation we provided. When we reserved (not paid, but confirmed reservation by giving our credit card details) the hotel, and submitted our visa application. Then, there was an unauthorized transaction on my card and I got it blocked from bank. Now, when visa officer might have checked with hotel, they denied reservation as card wasn't valid (may be). So they refused visa to me and my wife for honeymoon.
Next day, we applied again and provided docs of confirmed bookings. And in a week's time, we were granted visa from the same country.

Now my question is, will this be a problem in my PR application as now I will have to tick mark on clause 'if any of the applicants has been refused visitor visa'?

Will that be a problem? Can someone experienced guide me? I am very tensed as it is the last stage of my application.

Why so tensed ?. Your visa was refused but then later granted also - that in itself is the biggest evidence that everything was sorted out.

Since your visa was refused, so you will have to say YES to 'if any of the applicants has been refused visitor visa'? but attach a LoE and explain everything. You would be fine. Don't worry.

digital destiny is right - just do what he says... i'm sure it wont be a problem.
my visit visa for australia was refused in 2012, but since then i applied for visa again and been there twice... i mentioned that in application it wont be a problem

This will not be a problem. Just make sure to answer yes to any questions about whether you have previously been refused a visa.

It is not a big deal. You did nothing wrong. When your visa got rejected if the visa office gave you a documentation why your visa was rejected then provide it with an explanation. People with Canadian TRV rejection got PR. So, it is not a big deal as long as your are being truthful.

Visa refusal is not a problem, even I had Canada rejection visa earlier. Just don't lie about it. Say yes and add a letter of explanation with your application.

is the record of overstaying and refusal of Work permit application outside canada have a possibility of PR application refusal? Thanks for responses.
