i got a acceptance letter to follow a two years diploma course in Sheridan College in Canada. i got my study permit.can i take my husband with me and is my husband eligible to apply for a open work permit?(as my course is a two year diploma)
According to this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/work-spouse.asp, you can apply for an open work permit for your spouse once you have a study permit and you are a full time student. I think your husband will definitely get a work permit but not sure if you both can go together due to the processing period. Just start the application process for your husband since you have the study permit already.
