Hey I was born in 1994 to a american mother and a canadian father. My father was an immigrant but naturalized before I was born, and he didnt press for citizenship when I was born. Am I still eligible for easy citizenship? What hurdles do I have to do to obtain my citizenship? Who do I have to contact for citizenship?

You probably are a citizen, you have to apply for proof of citizenship -

Ok, since he didn't press for citizenship when u were born and he wasn't a citizen at time of yur birth just an immigrant. Sounds like your just an American citizen and that's it. You will need to write them a detailed letter for clarification.

I am assuming when you say "My father was an immigrant but naturalized before I was born", you meant your father became a naturalized Canadian before you were born in US. If this is the case, then yes you can get Canadian citizenship by claim of descent through your father. Just remember that since you are considered Canadian by descent, you will not be able to pass on Canadian citizenship to your children.

I forgot to write down that I was born in seattle does that impair my citizenship chances?
LOL, only if the citizenship judge had a bad experience in Seattle : ) No, if your father was a Canadian citizen (born or naturalized) before you were born, assuming you were born after 1947 (? think that's the year, read the info), then you can claim citizenship.

The OP said he/she was born 1994. So the OP is Canadian by descent through the father (naturalized Canadian before OP was born).
