Hi Guys

I am John, an aspirant for Canada PR.

I have given my IELTS and got overall 6.0 and my profession is Software Engineer.
When I checked my score it came as 69 but the Express Entry score shows as 324.

While I approach consultancies, they confirmed that since my profession is in Demand and likely to get invitations form Province for sure as soon as I lodge my application. So that my score would be in 324+600(Invite from Provinces) i.e. 924 and will get PR in immediate draw cycle.
But wondering is this true and any chance to get PR for Canada.

Please suggest If I am being turn to wrong side by consultancies.

Appreciate your help in this.

Thank you.

-John.

Not entirely true. Just some promise to get your money. Ask them which province they are going to apply for you. For now, all the PNPs are almost full and not easy to get in.

Do yourself a favor and read everything you can on this forum, especially the 2 sticky posts. I'm sure after one week, you will be up to date and understand the current situation of Express Entry.

Trust no one but yourself and IRCC.

I am in similar profession and I got my Expression of Interest a day after my EE profile was created.
We won't know for sure if PNP looks at specific profession or not.
Professions is not all that it takes in getting a PR, but surely is a small recipe.

What province are you targeting? Ontario stopped doing it for the year 2016 as it has met its quota.

this is good advice consultants have no influence on whether you get an invite or not all they can do for a charge is help you with forms and process none of which for any educated person is difficult yet you will be out of pocket for the priviledge.

Yup, the process isn't really so difficult that you need someone to do it for you. You'd probably get more useful advice form this forum :D ....I know i did but it's up to you though.
