What is acknowledgement letter?
1.April 14 i submitted online and paid application and biometric fees
2.i got one mail that denotes my application
3.april 15 i got update with UCI number
4.april 16 i got biometric letter and on the same day biometric done
5.april 16 biometric updated in my account.

I didn't receive any letters in mail..till now i am waiting ...
status :application in progress and eligibility review..

Thank u for ur reply... My biometric validity update in my CIC account..But no mail.. so I have to wait for biometric validity mail..Is it

Yeah, biometrics gets updated on the online account as soon as they are done at VAC. But Validity comes after CIC reviews your application along with biometrics. I applied for my mother's TRV (Visitor). Here is the sequence of events;

Online File submitted - April 2nd 2019
Bio request Received (online account) - April 3rd 2019
Bio done - April 15th (VFS Delhi)
Bio updated (online account)- April 15th
Online Account updated to Background in Progress and Eligibility in Review - April 16th
Acknowledgment Received (In email)- April 17th
Bio Validity Letter (online account) - April 24th
Passport Request (online account) - April 24th

So u don't get update message through mail...Only status in online account

You would get an email that your online account has been updated. But sometimes that is either delayed or it never comes. So going into CIC account and checking it is the best option to get updates.
