I am a US citizen that just received a positive LMO in British Columbia.
I have my work permit application information compiled and I am waiting on an original copy of my signed employment contract.
Once I have this information, I am considering a 'dry run' (going to the Peace Arch and attempting to apply for my work permit without my belongings).
Is this a bad idea? Do I need to bring my belongings in a Uhaul when I attempt to apply?
Or, can I do a 'dry run' and then move my belongings once I have all of my immigration details taken care of?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
