• 2026/04/18 Evidence submitted
• 2026/05/05 Hearing lasted 40 mins, Positive Decision was orally given by the member after the break. Member mentioned strong credibility and evidence

When can I expect to receive my copy of NoD? Can I start requesting the return of passport from IRCC?

I keep hearing and reading from other posts where it says it might take up to like 4or 5 weeks.

Your timeline seems quicker than other so good for you and I hope it gave you some relief.

I applied on November 2024 so few months after you, and got less complex stream around October 2025 but my Front end security screening is still not complete so hopefully I hear back from them soon!

It doest work that way buddy,You renounced your home country the moment you applied for refugee status. You can apply for RTD once you get your NOD. You will only get that passport once you become a Canadian Citizen.
