Anyone with knowledge on the approximate process & time after PSPAN receives the passport/package?

I got confirmation that my the passport was received this morning.
In the package, I included a current valid TT passport, 2x passport photos, updated IMM5406 and IMM5669, and pre-paid FexEd waybill.

It's *~Tuesday~* *~Tuesday~* la la la

Hey guys so I had an interview in Pos last week and it went well. iO believed our relationship is genuine. She told us that they have to run some background checks and they will send me a letter if they need anything. Is this good news ? And how soon will I receive the letter.

Received by Immigration section in P.O.S on the 4-04-2016 sign by T.EAILEY
It`s been 24 days counting... nothing yet !!

Thanks for the update. Interestingly, mine was received on April 26, and also signed by the same person.

I hope you get yours soon, I don't really want to wait that long myself.

From reading through numerous forums, I thought it would take around 2 weeks because I travel every month for my job and I was trying to calculate sending and receiving my passport back to book my May 2nd trip...' BOY WAS I WRONG '...

Initially, I received the email to send my passport FEB 23rd but because I was booked to travel I decided to send it when I return which I did immediately..
I also saw on CIC website that if you need your passport expedited you would have to send proof along with a fee for speedy expedition of coarse & it has to be for instance like a Death or some unforeseen circumstance for the speedy return of the passport..

I'm suppose to travel this Friday (Ticket already bought) and no passport...lol
but it could be worse...
but I'm still giving thanks because initially I started the process Oct 23rd, 2015...

My sister in law passport took 14 days total (including weekends) from the day POS received the passport to the day they mailed it back out.

Ok night everyone just need to clarify when it says decision made on you ecas when I click on it hover all I get is application was send on 2014 2nd line stated processing in 2015 and 3rd line send for document in December 2015 which they already recieve but nothing else.i taught when you see a decision made status and click on it it suppose to say a decision was made and we will contact you about the decision but mines don't say a thing

Stamped passport with CORP received today from Port of Spain Visa Office....It took 16days in total....Glory be to God....I hope we will hear more good news by tomorrow going into next week.

Well after waiting for two months and email them I was send an email saying the application was refused and they have send a letter to me and one to my husband yet still waiting,they take two freaking months and countless begging to tell you an application is refuse my god

Awww I am so sorry to hear, I can feel your pain. It took POS 5 months to send me my refusal letter too. It is definitely not a good feeling. Just keep praying for strength for you and your hubby.

My advised to you is to appeal as soon as possible. Almost all cases I know of that went to appeal was successful. Check out the appeal thread you will get all the info you need on there. Goodluck my dear.

Very sorry to hear that...their actions seem heartless, but I know even for the company I work for we won't tell you when your declined. You gotta wait for the letter to arrive in the mail.

Now that you know the decision you can take the necessary steps as WaitingSince2012 suggested and hopefully get things back on track.

God has brought you this far, and you can trust Him to see you and your husband through this. Good luck with getting everything done .

Well no letter yet so I can even appeal with out knowing why I was denied it was an email from Pspan that say it was refuse after countless begging I have a serious migraine right now but I am seriously thinking of applying for work outside Canada where I can be with my husband while I appeal

You don't need to know why you were denied to appeal. I think you can print off the email and fill out the appeal form and send it to the IAD (Immigration Appeal Division). What ever the reason is that is what you will be proving in court. Maybe you can ask on the appeal thread if anyone has ever submitted appeal paperwork with just an email.

You should do it as soon as possible because its quite a long wait to get an appeal date. If you are in Toronto you are looking at about 2 years to get an appeal date. Vancouver and Montreal on the other hand have a shorter wait time.

Very sorry to hear that. I agree with everyone get started on an appeal...maybe get a lawyer...this seems so unfair
