I've never done it before ... always leave anything like that to the lawyers.

What email address did you send it to?

I have always addressed it to the following:

Immigration Section / Section de l’immigration

Their email address:
PSPAN-im-enquiry <at> international<dot>gc<dot>ca

**Just add the appropriate @ or dot, as this forum strips out, or does not allow email address

Thats the same email address i use

That's is great news! You are almost to the end

Hi VincyCanadian. Thanks for checking up on me,I think this is one of the saddest day for my wife and myself since we have been married,I got a rejection letter today, words cannot describe my wife feelings, she has done so much, getting things together for my arrival and was so excited up until the point the news came to her,I wish there is something that I can do to make her feel wanted, she is such a loving woman,.,.,. :'(
This is what the letter said.
You have been Convicted in the United States of America on 12th of October 1999 of an offence, namely, Operation after Suspension or Revocation. If committed in Canada, this offence would be punishable under article 259(4)of the criminal code of Canada. This was ticket I got way back in 199 and the fine was not paid until recently, I thought when the fine was paid I would be on my way to my loving wife but my guess was wrong.

This is terrible news. I am sorry for you and your wife. Stay strong as it is a conviction from 16 years ago. I would like to suggest you get a lawyer and try an appeal or reapply.

We had legal advice because we had a number of red flags. I had asked the question if we are denied what can we do. I was told the above.

Good luck to you and your wife.

I'm very sorry to hear this news, like Canadianinlove said, stay strong, use this momentum to move forward and get things moving. Don't waste time as it will only bring you down.

I agree, especially with red flags, having legal representation you helps to bolster the effort.
Not to mention professional help from people who deal with this regularly.
