Thankfully not. The VACs are 3rd party contractors and the VO's stay where they are due to their "expertise" and decision-making authority. The VACs do not make any decisions, they simply process the paperwork, make sure it is correct and complete, accept fees and will even help people complete their apps. For an additional fee of course! Blessings.

Thanks for your response. We will be in Trinidad from December 23 to January 9. I got the flight for about 900$ which I consider good for that time of year. My parents are a little upset because they won't be seeing their granddaughter at Christmas but daddy hasn't spent a Christmas with her yet. It's hard to keep everyone happy!

You will have a wonderful time Behopeful and you can SKYPE the grandparents on Christmas! You and hubby need to be together and start traditions as a new family. Trust me you will never make everyone happy so do not even try. That is a recipe for self-misery (speaking from experience ). Blessings

I cant believe my husband and I still have yet to receive our notes, what the heck is up with that?
We have surpassed the time line they provide. If I didn't send the GCM notes request to the right place, I ensured to record a return to sender address, and nothing has been returned to me.

I am lost for words MissD. I can't believe this shit. What is wrong with this VO. I am pissed for you. I am expecting our notes in the next 2 weeks but really I know what to expect given the lack of info from yours. This is truly turning into the worst nightmare ever for the majority of us having to deal with POS.

Hi Mrs. M, sending you and millslu/hubby a big prayer & hug of encouragement. He has always been so encouraging to the rest of us in POS and others on the forum so please let him know he is missed and being thought of. But we all need a break sometimes for sure...if I won the lottery jackpot I would fly us all over to POS to picket the High Commission. With those nice fruity cocktails with little umbrellas in them . Here is a Lucian joke for millslu to cheer him up for a few seconds.......

Awww....thanks my dear. Ditto. I like to tell my hubby how lucky he is too ;D! He is actually a great blessing to me and has taught me much about patience and forbearance during this process. Not that I always appreciate it in the moment....lol.

The good thing about being on the forum is that we can commiserate together (I have many "un-positive" times as well) and uplift each other.....depending on the day of course. Blessings.

Well jus so u guys know I received snail on my decision and m in for the battle claimed i did not satisfy her dat my marriage was genuine.so based on her rediculus reasons (to me ) i did not dsatisfy her dat not inadmisable. Then she said she is sending a letter to my spouse notifying her ofthe appeal provosions of the immigration refugee act. The letter eill b sent to the lastknown adress. An adress which was chanfe 3 months ago so they nowr sending theletter delebrately to an old adress but ny way nun can stop the love. Cause guess wat she will keep going at it theyre trna fustrate her but god wil be good.tke care peeps.

I am truly sorry to hear this Priestman; and will be praying for you and your wife. I believe these officers are very cruel and have no sense of judgement; why would people go through so many things to prove their relationship if it was a marriage of convenience.

I am so sorry to hear that things went this way. You are very right though... Love can not stop you and your wife from being together. Keep fighting! You are very strong and although this is a bump in the road, you and your wife will be together. Strength and prayers are with you and your wife.
