Hello everyone! I am new here! :D
A family of 4 we live in French Guiana, we used to live in London, where we stayed for 15 years. French native speaker, we applied for a quebec certificate in august 2010 at the Mexico city Office, took us 14 months to get it. We were unlucky because the certificate got kept at Cayenne post office for 9 months, it was sent by Mexico in january 2012, and only got back to them in september 2012. Thank you "la poste"! >:(
Anyway, we then send our federal file to Sydney in nov 2012, it was then sent back to Mexico, even though we stated on the file that we wanted it to be process by the Paris office! We still don't know why that happen, now it is being processed by the Trinidad and Tobago office. ;D

I send an email to find out about their delays, they answered that this information was not available to the public! to those with experience, do you know how long it take them to process a QSW application? Thank you for any help you could give me!

Good luck to everyone! patience is the key!

Hi forum

Am back home and excited at the future. Let ne start with an interesting story of irony. My wife and I got our interview date may 8th and from that time we have been practicing our questions s and answers, one of our questions we had a small problem with with was when we first made Contact, until u finally got it right so back and fourth we went with the question, do you believe it was only yesterday my wife and I realise that may 8th 2011wss the first time we made first contact with each other and it falls on the exact day of the interview. Talk about coincidence huh., my wife laughe at that for hours n hours we sstill surprise with all that's goin on around us we didn't realise that.

Now let's move on to my interview. I arrived at the embassy 10 min early went to the counter to go e the. Follow my package, the package couldn't fit the slot so she had to come out and open the door to take it, she also ask for my passport. I waited for around 45 min, thy took my phone for security reason and there was no clocks or watches in the embassy . then my interviewed started and the woman made me feel comfortable she ask me if I have any questions about Amd she gave me speech about making sure she hears me I hears her. The only she said she motive I spent some. Time in Canada and wanted to ask me some questions. Forum friends and family I studied 84 question would u believe I only got to ask maybe 3 or 4 the same Vo was more interested in my ex wife as well as my past she touched basis on my wife but I was very fluent with her I didn't answer her question like yes or no i gave her dialogue about my wife she would ask one question I and I would conversing to her about any questions about she ask. She touch basis about my kids, children mother, about being married and coming here. I all I can say is she never ask about. My wedding to my present wife, she did ask how we met, she didn't ask us about bills or insurance or pictures I think we brought so much evidence of those things, that why she didn't ask.

After the interview was done she said I believe you marriage is genuine, she told me being that I was deported I cannot enter Canada without a certain document called an arc, so I raised my hand and stopped her and said I submitted my arc since January, she was a bit surprise so she got up went to the pile of documents next to her and found the Arc and the payment for arc, she apologized, she said she will submit it . then I asked her do I need to do my medical over, she said if I takes that long she will get an extension for me or have me redo a simple medical, which only involves an xray.

The interview ended at 9 30 Promptly.

I want to thank everybody for their support also for I those who helped me get that wonderful guest house I enjoyed the pool n jukuzee Hahah, being that I have been to trini before I took the public bus, but which was awesome and it dropped me right next to the embassy, and I only paid 4bucks for the ride.

Hi Millslu and thanks for coming back to share your experience! This will be very helpful to all of us. Sounds like they had very little doubt about your relationship with your wife.
When you say you took a package of supporting documents was this everything you sent to them or was this new stuff you had accumulated since submitting additional documents in January?

To answer your question my supportive document consisted of the informatio they ask when they sent me my interview letter, what made it so thick was when they ask me for communication, and we have over 200pages of texting back n forth plus Skype and also magic jack. So everything was new. I and I forgot to mention at the end of the interview the Vo gave me everythingback and iI mean everything I sent the except my sponsorship form., all my pics submissions from last year this year, I was like Damn, she kept nothing.

Sorry I didn't ask them. Why it took so long hahaha a lot great full my process is not as longI and i.I love trini. I the next step is waiting for the Arc to be approved, she told me that I broke some laws, I worked illegally and I overstayed three months. She didn't mention the time I robbed the bank(just kiddin hahah). But yes the Arc usually takes two months.

hey my friend....i glad your interview was successful ...... couple question.....how long did the interview last for and how long did u you have to wait for you interview.........

@maddants Iarrived at 8am but they took my phone there no clocks or watches in there so o had no idea of the time, I must have waited for 45 min and the interview ended exactly 9:30am. Interview didn't even feel that long. Like one of the ppl on forum said I think they already had a decision made, that's why they didn't ask me much questions s about my marriage.
