hey missd there isnt anybody on the spreadsheet, one june, one august, then november and december, before we know if that POS forum will be bankrupt.

I know! Not too many people will be left as people start to get PPRs... Hopefully we get some newby applicants - they will be cheery and not yet bitter like us LOL.. it will be nice hehehehehe jk

I just wish the hundreds of applicants knew about this forum and came in to post! We'd have a much better understanding of the timelines and such.

LOL.. there's no way immigration could say that hubby only wants to be with me to come to Canada.. I think he'd be more keen for me to stay in Dominica with him forever than go through all this stress with being apart and immigration. I wouldn't mind either, I love Dominica, if only they paid Doctors well there.

But he'll be happy here. He can't be insanely excited yet because he doesn't quite know the opportunities that Canada holds for us to build a good life. Plus.. there's always Christmas vacation in warm Dominica - that's a perk! haha

@millslu, I'm not entirely understanding your situation...are you saying that CIC informed you that your wife withdrew the application, although she didn't? Or that someone wrote to them with false information causing the application to be questioned?

I haven't heard from Priestman in quite awhile.. although, once you know you have an interview, you don't expect much news before the interview, so I guess you would not come on the site often. Maybe he had a normal life without the stress of checking stuff 5x a day for the last little while hehehe.

I'm sure he'll come on after the interview and let us know how it went.

so also in the light of all that my wifes e-cas changed again from application received to decision made for sponsor, which it was initially but changed when e-cas was having problems so now again it changed to its original state, talk about confusion.

I bet that means someone is looking into your file and whatever the error was with the withdrawal...

Hopefully it means they are fixing things up once and for all on your guys' app

Oh wow, that's quite strange then, never heard of that happening. Hope you can get it rectified quickly. When sending the CSE, put URGENT in the subject line, they'll address it sooner.

Sis, just now you tellin me the secret? hehehe. I sent one today (or well, hubby did). They never answer me anyway lol so maybe he'll have better luck.

As for millslu's problem with someone withdrawing the application (when they really did not). It would not be that hard for his ex-wife (or anyone with info about his past fillings) to have done so, am I right? I mean, a person's UCI does not change if they've dealt with CIC in the past, so all "someone" would have to do is send a CSE with his name/DOB/UCI and say that it's his "wife" and they want to withdraw application. Scary to think about. I'm hoping it will be a GOOD thing for you millslu. Just think, to correct the issue, they have to look at your file.. and hands on your file is a good thing! Maybe if someone tried to mess up the process for you, they really made it faster. Or maybe it was just a CIC error. Ya never know. The good thing is that someone is gonna fix it and hopefully look at your file this week!

MARLON!!!!!!!!!! Glad to hear that!!! I'm hoping for you as well! How long ago did they change your status to DM? Send them an email to see what's up if it's been too long! You need that PPR in your hands!
