yes i can now...
question.... how do u know the file was transfered and pos has it?? and whats AOR???

well when you send you application, they send you and email that they have received it now part 1 of the application is to see if your sponor can sponsor you, that happens in 30 days and you will get a letter sayin tht your sponsor can sponsor you and that your file is now sent to POS. now that might take another 60 days. the second part take at least another 90 days for POS to send you an AOR (Authorisation of receipt)which is in the form of a letter, telling you that they have received your application. from that point onwards you just have to sit and wait because you will not here anything from POS untl they ready for your passport or an interview. so since you have applied in November you should have gotten an email around now telling you the your sponsor is approved. check your email and post box and also check your e- cas as well.

yes I feel you loui, but here we are your family for now, and we gonna try to make things bearable, lucky your fam is with you, as for us we left our family back home and we just counting the days for us to get back to them, its not easy not at all, but we will furnishing you with as much information as you can and you can even let off some steam as well just don't let MISSD know about, she is a doctor or nurse either or she will have to throw someon in the physc ward.. I notice you apply in November for ppr why did you take so long?

Hahhaha if this process keeps up like this, they will soon take my doctor keys away from me and lock ME up in the psych ward. From doc to patient lol

Files are usually transferred within a couple weeks of sponsor approval to POS. Your file is definitely there by now. But POS notoriously takes approx 2 months to send you an AOR (which stands for Acknowledgement of Receipt) to tell you they HAVE your file. But it's there, so don't fret. You will get your AOR soon, if you get one. Some people NEVER get one and that's ok too. The problem is, you won't have a file number on the POS side, which you need to sign into e-cas to see if your file is being updated. YOU may be able to sign into e-cas using an old UCI number you may have been assigned for past travel/applications. You go to the CIC website and go to "check application status", PR application OUTSIDE Canada, simplied application, and then enter the APPLICANT'S info (including File number, which you need an AOR from POS to have or a UCI number - which doesn't change for a person over their lifetime). Enter all of that and you can see if they wrote that they have received your file in POS. If you do not have a UCI number (and no file number since you have not gotten AOR), you can call them if you don't receive your AOR within the next few weeks and ask for your file number (tell them how long you've been waiting after the transfer and sometimes they will give you your file number over the phone).

Hope that helps!

I would take your name out of the profile info on the side of your posts - most people don't use their full names on the site for privacy reasons. And, not that it matters, but the landed section where you wrote "ontario" is for the date you LAND in Canada as an official PR... hehe :)

lol im editing while i go.... i didnt input those...they were there..dw i know lol
