Oh okay well that is good progress for sure and someone is looking into your file.

I am not sure what it means exactly because mine has been there ever since the first day I could log on to ECAS.
Mine has been there since day one as well. So it MAY be that someone is working on your file OR when they lost all the info and re-entered it, they may have just remembered to put in your medicals this time (whereas last time, it got skipped over) and they just re-entered the lost info (including medicals) this time after the glitch. Of course I HOPE someone is looking into your file, but I'm worried it's just people inputting data to replace the messed up information...

Fingers crossed.

Wow, pretty nerve wrecking... Her interview went great, and she was told she'll be contacted within 2months, and Jan-27-2013 mark 2 months, but im also trying to keep in mind that the xmas holiday couldve caused a delay in the process. beside that, they carnival is this week too.

I hope you guys hear soon! Carnival in Dominica is this week too... so aint nobody doing much work this week LOL

I think there was probably some delays with the holidays, and then this stupid e-cas mess is probably not helping and then carnival LOL. You should send them a CSE and just remind them about them that you are awaiting your interview decision if it drags on too much longer. But I'm sure you'll hear soon.

We'd love to hear about the interview if you have a chance (was the person nice, how was the experience, etc)

Glad to hear from ya! I didn't know where ya went.

@missd ok so again we back to sQUARE ONE(CONFUSED)so the next thing is why did my wife the sponsor, her e-cas changed from decision made to in process and then they added me the applicant section which say application received? the sponsorship was showing decision made before why did it go back to in process.

hey @marlon good news seems to be just at your doorstep. were is your wife from?

EXACTLY. The sponsor's stuff should never have been changed from Decision Made to In Process. Which is why I'm cautious to think that "changes" to e-cas right now are updates showing people are working on our files and are INSTEAD just people in-putting any data that was lost (and making obvious mistakes, like putting a sponsor in process when your sponsor decision is already clearly made a long time ago). I truly just think they're working out kinks and fixing up the info and that's why we're seeing things changing (addresses changed or wrong, status not making sense, etc).

That's not to say that someone IS NOT working on your file.. they very likely are (and I'm hoping mine as well), but I wouldn't imagine that all these changes on e-cas are a sign of that (as others are reporting weird things with their e-cas coming back on as well).

I think the kinks will be worked out soon with this e-cas glitch and everything will be back to processing smoothly and, as you know, we are close to the front of that line. Even better now that your medical results show on your file (due to the update) so you don't have to worry about that once they finally throw you into In Process...

We're getting there! Slowly but surely.

Well, i can only quote what my wife said lol,

She said the lady was Asian, and she kept scratching herself, and didnt show much interest. However, she didn't find no reason, and anything suspicious to have our papers in questioning. My wife answered everything 100%.

But what got to me was when my wife told me she said... "I dont understand the time frame, why everything was done so fast"... Because, my wife got held in detention on the 12 of December 2011, i bought her a ticket to go back on the 19th, i went down 29 of January 2012, and we got married on February 04 2012. and the paper work was complete on march 27-2012 (Because omy T4 took long to come)... Should it matter how fast i've done it? Right there and they she should see that i wanted my wife to be with me, and not miles away. but shes trying to make it look like a fraud.

P.S... i dont know if i mention before, but my wife came and visit jun of 2012 and was granted 6months.. so the wait isn't as bad.

haha hey why did u come and take our women lol just kidding. but you can see that the timeline is so short of you meeting your wife and getting married in less than a year, also she facing removal order and all that is kinda of send a red light take for instant a common law have to be with each other for one year a married couple doesn't have to be but getting married less than a year or even 6 months whether genuine or not kinda raises something. but the most important this is that you can provide alot of evidence of your relationship in that 6 months period when your were together.

11-10-2013 YAHOOOO!
Hey Marlon and everyone else!

Few questions for the group...

General question... Should my husband be able to log into E-CAS at this point? Paperwork was submitted in December with sponsor approval and transfer of file in January. Does he log in with the same client ID number and such?

MARLON... Any tips on how your wife was successful getting a visitor VISA? Most people's experience has been to try but are ultimately denied a VISA especially when the person has overstayed previously or they have sponsorship application in.
My husband overstayed his VISA, turned himself into immigration in September and left late September. We were told he may be granted a VISA after a year. I noticied your wife came to visit less then a year. Just inquiring on your thoughts. We have a young child together so I would like him to come back and see her. We will be visiting him soon too. I'm torn in regards to if I should even try and apply for a VISA, given the odds are not in my favour! Any thoughts from the rest of the group?? Is it even worth trying?

Welcome Bajan!

Well POS, wanted to pop in here and share the great news. We got Decision Made this past Friday and the Visa is en route back to hubbie for pick up tomorrow.

Want to wish you all a speedy process and praying for each and everyone here to be reunited with their loved ones soon.

Miss D keep holding this thread down! You are a true gem.
