Thanks Guys. I did not log in at work I just saw the ecas tracker but it states inprocess from December 4th.

Hi baje, have you heard anything about your sponsorship approval?

Nothing yet, but i'm being patient .Have lots going on at work to keep me from stressing over it.

Good morning forum personels......to be considered common law you must live together for a year but do you have to combine your assets for a year as well or is it a gradual process or it doesn't matter how long you combined your affairs just as long as you established the living togethr date first?

I believe the living together date is the one you would go by. The others are just proof of being in a common law relationship.

SUPER EXCITING NEWS FOURM FRIENDS :D

My husband got a call today and was told to come in monday with his passport and his kids birth papers and they were going to give him his VISA

I AM FREAKING OUT EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our plan is that i am going to go down in january (well i guess it depends what the visa says) but he wants to be up here for my big 3-0 b-bday on feb 5th. didnt want to take him from his kids before Christmas.

Hopefully this means that POS is in the holiday spirit and trying to reunite families.

i will keep everyone posted with the next steps to come

I am a FSW applicant. I submitted my docs to POS in Sept 2010 and have not received an acknowledgement to date. Some of the FSW applicants from POS meet on this forum http://www.immigration.ca/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=73&title=trinidad-and-tobago-cases you should join us here.

when did you submit your docs to POS? any response from them to date?
