my app was filed on 28-06-2012 and was received the same day. sponsorship approval on 25-09-2012. on the 13-11-2012 ecas now shows medicals received is that a sign that I am well on my way? and if so after how long does vo ask 4 ppr. thanks and gud luck to all.

Some people say that 'medicals received' is a good sign. I think it means what it says and only that. Not wanting to get you down or anything but let me give you an example.
Mine said medicals received from the day I received sponsorship approval in oct 2011, my file never reached POS until dec 7 2011.
Everyone is different so just be patient, things will progress in the right way.
If you can give us more info, I will add you to our POS s/s. Info like home country, date of medicals, date AOR receivedif it did etc.

Wow so it takes 2 months for the files to be transferred from Canada to POS? I assumed they were being transferred electronically?

sponsorship approval was 25-09-2012 medicals was requested on 10-09-2012 medicals was done on 13-09-2012 sent 21-09-2012 via fedex received on 22-09-2012 according to fedex. nationality st.lucia.

Hey howcome ur medical was requested? Did u not send it with the application and did POS or CPC-M request it?

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of ..................

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.

This was our sponsorship approval letter of oct 2011, when I received my AOR from POS in Jan 2012 it stated that they received my file in POS on 7th Dec 2011.
It is not always that it takes 2 months to get to the relevant VO. I suspect that they wait for an opportune time to send them off to the VO.

@ fromadistance no I did not send my medicals together with my application and yes Cpp Ottawa was the one who requested for the medicals. my medicals was sent ottawa.
