All the documents you submitted with your application. POE letter if you got it, your passport. If you are arriving before your classes start. You will have to show proof that you have the money to take care of yourself till classes start.

Will they give me the documents back or have to photocopy it again and submit it to them at the port of entry.

No, they will just see them, you will get them back.
