Hi

I would like to understand ,
1. is it necessary to carry all the amount you declared as proof of funds to Canada?
2. Does the Immigration officer reject your port of entry since you bought less amount (than your declared proof of funds)

Thank you

1. You have to carry PROOF of funds. Recent Bank statement, is one method.
2. Yes, if you can't prove you have the minimum required POF, your "landing" can be refused.

I have another question. What if I have declared funds of CAD 24,000 in my EE profile (for family of 2) and bringing CAD 18,000 as POF at time of landing. The minimum required funds for family of 2 is CAD 15,772. Would this be a problem?
