Police clearance

Hello all,
I m in india. I am in EE pool expecting ITA in next two
Draws, can i get a police clearance upfront before receiving an ITA ? Is it ok?
just checkinh to avoid any time lag.

@Puja shalini Keep in mind PCC for current residence is valid only for 6 months and any country outside your current residence in generally considered to be 1 year.

Better to wait for the ITA and then apply for the PCC. You'll have a longer validity for the PCC that way. It doesn't that long to receive it anyways.

I "knew" the SHO of my area's police station, so i was i able to get the person to conduct my enquiry and verification and submission quite soon. It's easy to "know" cough cough bribe, someone in a police station in India. Kinda ironic, considering.

actually m in pool with 470 cutoff and cec applicant. I m likely to receive ita in next draw. As pandemic situation is getting worse in india . I wanna get it done upfront although it took two montjs for few of my friends.So I thought its better to get it done. Thankyou so mych for the info.
