Police clearance from a country worked more than 5 years before

Hi,
I'm a Sri Lankan citizen. I have worked in Saudi Arabia in the period of 2010-2012. Now im planning to apply for Canada skill migration. As I have left Saudi Arabia more than 6 years ago is it still a requirement to get police clearance certificate from Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia doesn't issue PCC for non residents so you have to mention in Letter of explanation that you have lived in Saudi Arabia from this date to that date but as Saudi Arabia has a rule of providing PCC to only residents you cannot provide one as you have already left the country.
