Hi all,
I am about to apply for citizenship( now PR).Turns out I will need a PCC along with my application.I am visiting India in 2 weeks. Can I get a PCC directly in person from a passport office while I am in India. Or should I go with the BLS since I am resident here in Canada? Please advice.
Thank you in advance

you need PCC if you spend more than 6 months outside Canada in the last 5 years. And if you take your PCC while in India and it becomes invalid as soon as you reach Canada and you can't use it with your application.

yeah you can get it from passport office if you are applying from India. But if you are applying from Canada it’s highly recommended to get it from BLS
