hello everyone

i have a question about pcc in india.i got a pcc from a police station in delhi .can i use it for canada fsw?or do i need to get it from the delhi passport office.i saw lot of people getting pcc from passport office.but after a thorough research i obtained a pcc from police station in hauzkhas and it seems like i can use it for immigration purposes also.just need some views from all you wonderful people.

I dont think passport office issues PCC or do they in India? I am from Pakistan and i think both countries have a similar sort of a process as far as PCC is concerned. what i ve read in this forum from fellow Indians is that they have to apply for a PCC from their local SSP office...

thats what i thought so my friend.but yes even the passport office also issue pcc,s. just a quick question what did u mean by SSP office?does it stand for police station?and one more thing i am really surprised that pakis and indians are solving each other problems.i wish it as the same for all the rest of us including our governments!!
 
i think they do issue..........
maybe this the only issue in which indian n pakis are on one page..............he he he

people are same everywhere irrespective of their creed, cast, religion etc etc... Conflicts arise when politicians come into the game and try to create issues every other day...... Pakistanis generally like Indians and i am sure thats the way it is over the border..... we were one country once and lived together for hundreds of years,, did nt we? same roots? same origins???? i guess thats enough on this from me...

As far as SSP is concerned it stands for Senior Suprintendent of Police....

Local Requests

For districts other than the Punjab:
Applicants should contact the local Senior Superintendent of Police/ Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Police, the Additional Commissioner of Police, or the Station House Officer (Police clearance certificate issued by the Regional Passport Office are also acceptable.

For residents of the Punjab:
