Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from Bahrain

I just wanted to know if anybody has received their PCC or Good Conduct Certificate (as they say it here) from Bahrain recently. Is it necessary to provide the letter from IRCC or will a NOC letter from my employer suffice? As I have plans to move to Canada in the near future, I wanted to get the PCC from Bahrain before I leave for good and not go through the hassles of applying for it from outside Bahrain.

Any suggestions or advice will surely be appreciated.
